The mandatory stamp duty and vehicle insurance costs are increasingly unsustainable not only for Paduan families struggling with the crisis that does not give up, but also for the Municipality.

AUCTION. The Padua administration has thus decided to sell 34 owned vehicles including cars, trucks and scooters. On sale above all Fiat Panda, also to LPG, whose average price is 400 euros. The auction will be held Thursday, March 21 at 14.30 at the municipal office of viale Codalunga, 1 / bis. The vehicles can be viewed on the morning of Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 March from 9 to 13 always at the garage.

THE LIST: ALL THE VEHICLES MADE TO THE AUCTION

HOW DOES IT WORK. The vehicles will first be sold individually and then the unsold vehicles can also be re-proposed in groups to economic operators present at the auction with a 20% discount compared to the auction price. If there are still unsold goods, there may still be private negotiations through the Court of Padua Sales Institute, or the municipal administration will proceed directly to the scrapping of vehicles with the conferment to Simonato srl of Padua.

SAVINGS. This auction completes the decommissioning action of half of the municipal car park in the Euganean capital: from 104 to 52. "In 2012 we went from 4 blue cars to 2 - explains the commissioner for maintenance Andrea Micalizzi - the same route it is also following for the service cars, with the sole exception of two essential services, that of the municipal police fleet and of the cars available to social workers.The savings expected each year are 96 thousand euro to which is added to the collection of the sale of cars undergoing disposal ".
